The Founder

Hello, my name is Daniel, and I’ve always been curious about the wildlife flying around while on trail, (you can read about my hiking adventures on the Texas Trailhead website), but when I turned 40 I found that I was paying more and more attention to the birds I was enjoying seeing and listening to.

Eventually, I started collecting the sights and sounds of the birds I was finding and realized many people were out on the trail looking for a new bird to add to their collection.

This website is for bird watchers of ALL skill sets for gear & accessories to get out birding and enjoying your experience!
